The Sunday CEO Strategy: How to Plan Your Week for Consistent Content, Sales & Sanity
Ready to stop winging it? This Sunday CEO Blueprint walks you through how to plan your weekly content, marketing, follow-ups, and life—all in under an hour. Includes real-world examples, niche content prompts, and ready-to-use strategy.
You ever blink and it’s suddenly Sunday again?
Before the week steamrolls you, I’m handing over my go-to routine for planning content, marketing, and life in a way that’s aligned, strategic, and actually doable.
This isn’t just a planning session. It’s your business reset.
And yes—it includes b-roll!
Step 1: Look at the Big Picture 📆
Before I plan any content, I ask:
What’s happening this week?
Personal: birthdays, holidays, appointments
Business: launches, promos, team calls, lives, etc.
This gives me the framework to plan around instead of trying to “fit things in” later.
I open my Google Calendar, glance at our family schedule, and then shift into biz mode.
Step 2: Plan the Content That Connects 💬
I don’t pull content out of thin air anymore.
Here’s how I make it simple and strategic:
1️⃣ Start With Questions People Ask Me
Literally. I think about the last 3-5 questions I answered this week:
→ “What’s the difference between a freebie and a lead magnet?”
→ “How do I know if my content is converting?”
→ “What do I say in a follow-up email?”
2️⃣ Turn FAQ Into Content (Real Examples by Niche)
Start with ONE question your audience keeps asking you—and build from there.
Here’s how that might look ⤵️
💬 Menopause Mentor:
FAQ: “How do I stop waking up drenched in sweat every night?”
→ Educational Post Idea:
“Did you know one of the biggest triggers for night sweats is actually blood sugar crashes? I didn’t either—until I started tracking mine. Here’s 3 ways to stabilize yours before bed.”
→ Storytelling Post Idea:
“I used to wake up at 2am soaked and anxious… until I tried this one simple change in my evening routine. Now? I sleep through the night. Want the exact protocol?”
→ CTA: “Drop SLEEP below & I’ll send it to you!”
🏡 Realtor:
FAQ: “Is now a bad time to sell my house?”
→ Educational Post Idea:
“Rates are up, but inventory is low. Translation: Sellers still have the upper hand in most markets. Here’s 3 ways we’re helping listings stand out right now.”
→ Storytelling Post Idea:
“My client Jess thought she’d missed the window to sell. 3 weeks later? She closed at $32k over asking. Here’s the strategy we used.”
→ CTA: “Thinking about selling? Drop HOME and I’ll send you the market breakdown for your area.”
🛍️ Boutique Owner:
FAQ: “Do you have anything cute but comfy for spring?”
→ Educational Post Idea:
“You don’t have to sacrifice comfort for style. I pulled 5 outfits from this week’s drop that feel like PJs but look like Pinterest.”
→ Storytelling Post Idea:
“‘I finally found jeans that don’t make me want to cry by 2pm!’ —actual customer message this week. Wanna see what she bought?”
→ CTA: “Drop SPRING for a peek at our comfy-but-cute picks!”
🧴 Skincare Brand Owner
FAQ: “How do I get rid of these tiny bumps on my forehead?”
→ Educational Post Idea:
“Most people think it’s acne—but those little bumps? Usually clogged pores from product build-up or dehydration. Here’s 3 ways to clear them fast.”
→ Storytelling Post Idea:
“My client thought her forehead would never clear up—until she made this one change. Here’s what worked for her…”
→ CTA: “Drop GLOW and I’ll send you the exact steps!”
3️⃣ Mix Up the Formats
I aim for a mix of:
Color block posts
B-roll reels with captions
Tips + teaching carousels
Storytelling or testimonial-driven posts
And yes, I post 2x per day. You do what works for you.
🎯 Want help laying this out each week?
I’ve already built a content planner board that helps you plug your FAQ into post formats that attract, engage, and sell

Step 3: Prep the Nurture + Follow-Up 📩
You know I’m not just here to get likes.
After the content pulls them in, my follow-up system seals the deal.
Here’s what I prep:
1-2 emails for my list: These could be short value tips, blog promos, or flash sale follow-ups.
1-2 text messages: Value-forward texts like…
“Did you know most people only reach 10% of their audience on IG—but 90%+ of emails get seen?”
“Quick tip: Instead of sending a ‘just checking in’ DM, reply to their story or drop a GIF. It triggers connection without the awkwardness.”
I use the Automate & Elevate platform to pre-schedule emails and SMS so they go out while I’m living my life.
Step 4: Film the B-Roll 🎥
B-roll is my secret content stash.
I batch a few 5-10 second clips of:
Typing on my laptop
Pouring coffee
Walking outside
Reviewing content
Then I use them for:
Reels with voiceover
Quote overlays
Trending audio (without dancing)
Easy. Evergreen. Done in 10 minutes.
Step 5: Align the Home Front 🏡
I don’t just plan my business. I plan my life.
Here’s how I reset my home each Sunday:
Sync schedules with my husband
Add kids’ sports & appointments to the calendar
Meal plan + grocery order (hello, Instacart)
Block out time for workouts, content, and chill
Because CEO mode doesn’t work if your house is in chaos. 🤪
BONUS: Turn Your Sunday Scroll Into Strategy
Let’s be real—you’re probably scrolling right now. So why not make it strategic?
Sunday is prime time to peek behind the curtain of what other businesses are doing—and no, it’s not copying. It’s research.
Here’s what to look for while you scroll:
What posts made you stop?
What hooks grabbed your attention?
What made you click a link or comment?
Now take those patterns, plug them into your brand voice, and use them to refine your strategy for the week.
